WATER SUPPLY & SEWAGE SYSTEM

LGB established the foundations for successful long-term cooperation with the public company Vodovod-Kanalizacija in 1995. Since then, we have been involved in the demanding task of constructing and renovating the water and sewage system, which was one of the largest infrastructure projects in the city of Ljubljana and some suburban municipalities.

In the process of construction and renovation, we were involved in all the construction phases, from design, staking-out, monitoring of construction to creating geodetic plans for the needs of the projects of the executed works and obtaining operating permits. The prerequisite for complete geodetic surveying of lines and house connections was the continuous cooperation with the construction supervision and with construction companies.

All field measurement data were computer-processed, edited and prepared in accordance with the client’s requirements in a format that allowed for easy and direct integration of data into the information system of the Vodovod-Kanalizacija company.

With our experiences and expertise, we have played an important role in the very establishment of the client’s information system. We participated in defining and designing data models and workflows, both for surveying and for recording changes in the communal infrastructure.

Up to now, more than 600 km of lines and nearly 19,000 connections have been measured and recorded on both utilities.
